About once a week I get someone asking me about working genealogy leads. Most of them want the easy way out by emailing to these lists. Unfortunately genealogy lists are names of people who were in a company that went belly up. These leads can be rather old by the time they are purchased by genealogy lead brokers who will then scrub them against all sorts of things like: email still works, phone still works, national do not call list, etc.
My point is very simple:
If you are in mlm you should seriously consider having your own website that can attract people who can then opt in to some freebie you are offering. These people in turn become part of your very own mlm lead list and you can market to them any old fashioned way.
If your company goes belly up and your website is targetted to a certain product, don’t worry, there is an affiliate program out there that can still allow your website to bring in money. Want to see proof:
1. www.healthy-diabetic-solutions.com
2. www.healthy-arthritis-solutions.com
Both websites WERE for a MLM company that I no longer am associated with. I turned them over to sell affiliate products and at one time or another these sites were hitting $300 in commissions per month. Averages are around $150 plus google adsense. Imagine if you have several products your mlm company sells. You could create your own website for each, offer a freebie newsletter or something and trade it for names of people interested in your product. That will eventually lead to a sale and money in your pockets.
You see, there are many ways to skin a cat, genealogy leads are best worked by using the phone and if you are serious about your mlm business you need a website that you can call your own.
I know of several places that will teach you by video how to build a site and the other tangibles they offer make is senseless to use anyone else.
But that’s for another day, get creative and you can build your own network marketing leads of people who are active NOW instead of waiting around for a company to go under.
Make sense?
