I got a call last night from a person who ran into my site and basically asked in frustration: “how can I best use the mlm leads, I just purchased”.
My initial response was: “stop selling” and my second response was: “professionals sort”.
Basically everyone who purchases any type of mlm leads and those who generate their own mlm leads all want to do it the easy way: Let email follow up letters do all the work. It seems a lot of people have forgotten about using the phone. Using phone follow ups has always increased your sign up rates by a minimum of 23%. It does make sense to use the phone to “gather information”. It works best if you know exactly how that mlm lead was generated, then your offering can be extremely targeted to those individuals.
You must have a game plan before you ever contact your mlm leads. You need a game plan for initial contact via email or phone and you need to be able to steer these people to a certain offering of your choice. Most successful mlm’ers always have a offering that gets prospects to take action. Usually free material is the best approach. It can be a free report, a free tour, a free product. You get the idea, right?
Offer something for free up front, this will help open the door to more contact with this prospect and then you should guide them through your recruiting system or process. As you complete each step, realize that your prospects are asking themselves if they see themselves being able to do what you are doing. If they answer that with a resounding “YES”, then they will be a good candidate to become a business partner.
