MLM Leads

Yesterday, I had a friend call me and ask why so many people are joining mlm opportunities when they can make more money with less work doing the “surf thing”.

I thought about it for a minute and remembered that the FTC shut down some of them because they felt those businesses were ponzi schemes.

I do see many of them again but this time the people got smarter and now they are paying to advertise their sites on these surf programs.

So………………

I didn’t have a great answer for him because this is basically what he threw at me:

MLM Start up costs: distributor kit $25
product purchase $125
advertising coop $75
phone calls $60
website $19.95

He listed a few more things but I am not going to get to picky about it right now. The total from above is roughly $300. If this person does not recruit any new members their first month their total return on investment is ZERO.

He then asked me to take $300 x 10% which is $30. Take $30 x 13 and you get $390. Take your $390 x 10% which is $39. $39 x 13 = $507.

Basically in 26-28 days you will not only get your money back you will earn an additional $207.

His big question about making money at home opportunities was………….

why would people go through a 6 month to 3 year learning curve in mlm and not try these advertising surf programs when you know it’s money in your pockets?

A lot of people are turning to these programs but I do tell them NOT to invest their nest egg because you never know if and when the FTC will come back to bite these people again.

What are your thoughts about this? We are looking for comments from any and all of you.

Both copies should be in all network marketers library. If they are not in your library that probably explains why you are not have the success you want?

I learned a long time ago if you are green you grow and if you are ripe you rot.
