Does it really matter what they think of you?
Based on your follow up, what would a prospect think of you?

A lot of people only get 4 or 5 new leads coming in a week. These networkers might “mother hen” these prospects to death, which ultimately leads to death.

Others neglect their prospects and soon find themselves on the short end of the “delete” key.

Truth be told, you can’t please everybody but you can please the “right” prospects. In order to find the “right” prospects you need to beef up your promotions, you need to beef up your follow up campaigns and you need to pick up the 1000 pound gorilla called the phone.

There is no doubt in our minds that the use of the telephone can increase your sponsoring rates dramatically. The key to the phone is to gather information from your prospects about themselves and then offer to assist them in finding what it is they need.

Take the top 10 needs from these prospects and create a FAQ section or create a 10 day follow up campaign that addresses each need and how you can help them fix it.

Most importantly you need to create a “long term” mind set when it comes to sponsoring new leads. Forget about sponsoring them yesterday, instead focus on the decision making process and how you can help them make that decision faster. There is a right way and a wrong way to do it.
